Assistance for the Farming Business
Financial management decision making on the farm has a great deal to do with the success of a farm business. We can be the best producer but if we do not manage the checkbook we still cannot survive. Striking a balance between making the hybrid decisions and deciding when to expand the business is sometimes difficult because we tend to enjoy the doing part of farming more than the bookkeeping part.

Ohio Pesticide License Recertification Sessions
Over 900 Private Pesticide License holders reside in the four county area and are required to obtain recertification credits every three years to maintain current certification for those license. The program provides materials for the safe use of pesticides for the control of insects, diseases and weeds that threaten crop production as well as non chemical control alternatives. Several upcoming events are being sponsored by Ohio State University Extension to get those credits taken care of.
